his fourth home in the evolution of residences designed and built by the Architect as his own client is again located on an elevated site of exposed solid granite ledge. This time the radial framing of laminated beams enclosing a continuous flow of space in the kitchen, dining and living portions of the house is confined to that part of the house, and is framed in a spiral pattern of beams increasing in dimension as the space develops from the kitchen through the dining area into the living area. The bedroom end of the house is designed in a rectangular form which connects to the spiral form of the living area at the foyer. Distant water views are enjoyed through the perimeter glass on the south side around the dining and sunken living spaces, and from the decks on that side, while one strategic view of the church steeple on the central town green several miles away can be enjoyed through one precisely placed window in the study, and from the foyer when the study door is open. The house is located on a site specifically developed to take advantage of conservation open space surrounding it.
